How do you recruit families for TGH? Any strategies you can share?
For me, I used 10 minutes in the Open House and pamphlets, both in English and Chinese, to promote this event. Since we only have 15 slots, I have a pretty good result. Actually, before I stopped any other application, I've had 16 families.
Hi! You could choose to have over 15 families enrolled, if you like. Also, perhaps you could share the pamphlet that is translated? It would be very helpful to others who are recruiting! You could send it to Dan and he could make sure it is available to other trainers. Thanks so much for your ideas!
Hi all! Recuitment and starting in the Fall is a little tricky because of the late start. many program have already started and families have a hard time changing their commitments. We sent out avoice maessage to families and had applications on hand in the lobby.
We made A LOT of phone calls to families in 4th and 5th grade after we sent flyers home. We also held an Open House for families to explain the program and let them sign up for the program there if they were interested. We also created a calendar before recruiting so that parents could be sure they could commit to the classes.
