Decided on a final project yet? What are some of your ideas?
For my 5th grade son, he is doing a project on selecting a Middle School. Keeping with that theme, at the Timilty where I teach, I want families to pick and investigate several High Schools.
Our 5th graders are making posters on selecting middle schools. Our 4th graders are making posters on useful websites. We plan on hanging these in the hallways and doing a gallery walk during the last class as their presentation and we also plan on leaving them up after classes are over so that others can learn from them!
The 4th and 5th grade families are does a power point with a working title "My Boston". They have researched a museum to go to with the costs and availability of passes at the local library branch, picked a place on the freedom trail, learned who the city councilor is for their district and how to contact them.We are doing middle schools next and see where that takes us.
